It was hot and humid. It was over 90F. Blue sky and windy. We went to the water park by the Kikkoman soysauce. Since it is not a huge park we only spent 3 hours in the morning. We all got sunburned. :0 We had a fun time!

Just before Kent and Hannah tried to take a nap, we heard the sound of Japanese old drum and traditional Japanese flute. We rushed outside and saw a line of people. About 20 people who wear special kimono costume were walking around. This activity is the part of summer celebration. At this time many local shrine or temple has some sort of summer festive to express their gratitude to the god. It was very interesting to see.
